I'm a passionate person, through and through.  My day job has nothing to do with flowers or floral arrangements, but I think that's what makes my creations so special.  They are an outlet for my creativity and my passion for nature. 

 

Growing up with a landscaper father, flowers and horticulture have always been a big part of my upbringing.  I can remember helping my dad install Japanese garden koi ponds in the summer and Christmas tree floral events each December at the local floral shop.  He was always teaching me about plants so naturally I found myself drawn to forestry and flowers.  (I can still name a tree simply by its leaves..... thanks Dad!).  My favorite thing to do was to watch my dad help the floral team with large floral orders and deliver flowers to their lucky recipients. I loved watching the team assemble bouquets within minutes or create floral arrangements from a single stem.  Those memories never left me and continue to inspire me today.

My credentials do not lie in design or floral art.  I am a veterinarian by day and love my job and my patients.  However, my creative mind often needs more..... thus leading to my love of floral art.  I hope I can make someone's day a little bit more colorful with my designs.  I hope they bring my clients as much joy as they have brought me.
