What is the usual cost of flowers?
This can vary depending on your needs and preferences. In Indiana, couples generally spend an average of 15-20% of their wedding budget on florals with an average spend of $3,000 to $10,000 depending on the size of the wedding.
We encourage you to visit our a-la-carte menu for a preliminary estimate, but please schedule a consultation with us for a detailed and accurate quote. During this meeting, we can provide a comprehensive breakdown of costs based on your chosen designs and floral requirements.
Do you use real or silk flowers?
Whispering Willow Floral arrangements are made with premium silk flowers and real-touch florals, meaning they will stay beautiful from the moment they arrive until forever! They are truly florals that will last a lifetime!
How far in advance do I need to book?
It's best to book 9-18 months in advance to guarantee your date. However, we will accept bookings until 60 days prior.
What cities do you do weddings in?
We are located in Terre Haute, IN and can do weddings anywhere in the state of Indiana. We also can do weddings out of state, but there would be an associated travel fee included with the quote.
Can your floral arrangements be shipped?
Yes, we can ship custom bridal party arrangements, custom small centerpiece arrangements, and custom floral arch arrangements. All other arrangements, including rental floral pillars and rental altar arrangements, are delivery only.
What is your booking process?
BEFORE YOUR BIG DAY
Step 1: Fill out the wedding/event inquiry form in our contact section. Feel free to also check our availability calendar in the services section.
Step 2: Book a consultation to go over more details, ask any questions, and get a quote. Here we will look at inspiration photos and discuss your vision for your wedding.
Step 3: Sign your custom contract (50% of your total invoice is due to reserve your date, and the remainder is due 60 days prior to your event). Any adjustments to the contract can also be made at this time.
Step 4: Approve your wedding mood board.
Step 5: Approve your mock-up wedding arrangements (This allows you to visualize your arrangements prior to your big day, allowing us to design them to perfection and make any changes - benefit of choosing silk!)
Step 6: Sit back and relax while we work out the details to make sure everything comes into place for your special day.

DURING YOUR BIG DAY
On the day of your wedding, before the ceremony, we will drop off flowers for the bridal party (bouquet, boutonnieres, corsages, etc.) unless you opt for personal pickup. We will then set up/install and place ceremony/reception flowers at the venue and leave after everything is perfect and ready for your ceremony/reception before guests begin arriving.

AFTER YOUR BIG DAY
Deliver/ship the arrangements back to us, or if we are tearing down, we will collect all of the rental arrangements the evening of your event, so you do not have to worry about clean up.

What type of arrangements do you make?
Bridal Party (Line Flowers):
Bridal bouquet; boutonnière for groom, groomsmen, ring-bearer, fathers and grandfathers; bridesmaids bouquets; flower crowns for bride, bridesmaids or flower girls; corsages for mothers, grandmothers, or sisters, etc.
Ceremony and Reception:
Floral pillars, arch flowers, vase arrangements, aisle flowers, mantle decoration, table centerpieces or garlands, welcome table, book table, cake flowers, swags on signs or chairs, etc.
(This is not an all inclusive list, we are always happy to branch out.)
Can I get a bouquet for photos before my wedding day?
Absolutely! It is very common to order a bouquet for photos prior to the wedding. 30 days notice is required for any arrangements for photoshoot bouquets.
What types of payment are accepted and when do I need to pay?
We accept Venmo, Google Pay, PayPal, credit card or cash.
Once a quote is agreed upon a deposit is paid to book your date, this is 50% of your total invoice. This is non-refundable and goes toward the final price. The remaining payment is due in full 60 days prior to the wedding.
(All bookings must be made at least 60 days prior to the event.)
Do you do collaborations?
If you have a floral budget for your photoshoot and are looking for a florist to work with, please reach out through the styled-photo shoot inquiry form. We love doing photoshoots throughout the year with other wedding industry professionals.
What information will you need?
-Colors, style or inspiration photos, arrangements desired, favorite flowers, flowers you do not want, and your budget
-Date, time, and location of all wedding events
-Contact info for bride and groom, and day-of contact
-Names of people in wedding party receiving flowers, so they can be labeled
-Name of photographer, and if I may use photos from them (with credit given) for social media and/or website
-Contact information for wedding cake designer to coordinate flowers (if applicable)
